This unit with interchangeable camera heads as pictured above is truly one of the most rugged and versatile systems we use. With a sturdy cable length of 300' it allows us to inspect many different applications from process lines as small as 2" diameter right up to large 60" lines with the addition of lighting and customized centering rings. We have in the past attached an inflatable inner tube to the camera head and once inside a 3", opening into a 45" line, inflated the tube to allow us to reposition the camera head to get the picture our client needed. In this case that is what had to be done to get the results required. On another occasion we were asked to inspect inside a liquid "flash tank" operating at 260 degrees C. The client wanted to visually observe a diffuser plate within this tank and monitor various reactions as the process took place. The camera was exposed to this temperature for 8 hours continuously without so much as flicker of the picture. This system is very portable as well as adaptable.
